Job Summary
Collaborate with software development and platform teams to deliver secure products using modern cloud-native technologies like Azure, .NET, and Kubernetes. Champion security best practices by running consultations, trialing new tools, and managing risk-based vulnerability assessments that balance security needs with business goals. Build credibility through continuous learning in AI and application security while providing oversight across major business initiatives. Work within a remote-first, no-hierarchy team to reduce cyber risks and drive the adoption of DevSecOps standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in writing code and working in a cloud native environment
- Experience with Azure
- Experience with .NET
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with equivalent technologies to Azure, .NET, Terraform, and Kubernetes
- Good security knowledge and enthusiasm for software security
- Understanding of common software vulnerabilities
- Ability to describe software vulnerabilities to different audiences
- Awareness of the wider security landscape
- Great communication skills
- Ability to clearly articulate security risks and improvements to a variety of stakeholders
- Experience in a fintech environment or similar upscale organisation
- Experience working with AI security and governance
- Experience leveraging the latest technology to stay ahead of attackers
