Security Engineer responsible for designing and operating security controls across OCI-based infrastructure, focusing on Data Security (DLP), Endpoint Security, Network Security (IDS/IPS, WAF), Cryptography and Certificate Management, and secure-by-default configurations using Terraform OCI modules. Emphasizes GitOps, Terraform, GitHub Actions, automation scripts in Python/Bash; experience with OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, WAF, Bastion, IAM, and NSGs; 3–6+ years in Security Engineering; hybrid work in Makati City, Philippines.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6+ years in Security Engineering, SecOps, or Infrastructure Security
- Hands-on experience building, configuring, deploying, and operating security controls
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Experience deploying and managing endpoint security agents at scale
- Ability to manage certificate lifecycles and TLS issues
- Strong Terraform skills with OCI provider and building reusable modules
- Experience with OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, WAF, Bastion, IAM, and NSGs
- Experience with GitOps workflows using GitHub (branch protections, CI/CD)
- Python/Bash scripting for operational security needs
- Ability to automate tasks via scripts or Terraform modules
- Comfort with terminal and SSH, log reading, and configuration debugging
