Job Summary
The Security Electronics Technician is responsible for the management of electronic systems and computerized controls, including locking systems, fire alarms, intercom systems, and CCTV for the facility. Key responsibilities involve executing preventive maintenance schedules, performing inspections, utilizing electronic test equipment, and maintaining client relationships. The position requires knowledge of correctional operations, the ability to read blueprints, and performing appropriate documentation. Candidates should exhibit strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4-6 years dealing with security electronics experience in commercial environments (Preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is a plus
- Certifications may be required

- Must maintain a clean and safe workplace while performing maintenance tasks
