Job Summary
Security Dispatcher responsible for receiving, dispatching and logging all requests for security assistance across departments, issuing temporary team member and vendor badges, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services, logging incidents and lost items, and maintaining security logs. The role includes escorting guests, ensuring back-of-house access control, money-handling duties, first aid/CPR when needed, patrols for safety hazards, interviewing and documenting incidents, enforcing policies, and supporting management as needed. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, customer-service experience, ability to operate under physical demands, CPR/AED and First Aid certification, valid driver’s license, TiPS and gaming licenses, and ability to work in a security-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Previous customer service experience
- Must be able to run on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs
- Ability to identify and quickly respond to potential problems and conflicts; and defend self and others in combative situations
- Must be able to earn and maintain American Heart Association CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history
- Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification
- Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
- Written communication in English may also be required
- Mathematical skills including handling money and measurements
- Ability to perform adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure
- Reasoning ability to apply common sense
- Ability to complete first aid/CPR/AED certifications
- Compliance with federal, state, and local licensing requirements
