Job Summary
Directs the Security department across Memorial Regional Hospital, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, and off-site locations to ensure 24-7-365 safety. Leads policy enforcement, incident analysis and proactive risk strategies; provides direct supervision of security staff, recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions; oversees contracted security personnel and law enforcement partnerships; manages security for multiple facilities and large events; develops and updates department goals aligned with organizational objectives; conducts comprehensive risk assessments and coordinates with IT, Legal, Risk Management, and vendors to deploy advanced security technologies and emergency management plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Required)
- Seven or more years of experience in security, healthcare security, law enforcement or military with progressive leadership
