Job Summary
Security Director responsible for managing a security contract at Dartmouth Mall, overseeing Supervisors and staff, accountability for performance, service and budget, and ensuring a safe environment. Establish and maintain relationships with local police and fire departments, lead development and implementation of security procedures, post orders, and life-safety practices; supervise training and discipline; coordinate payroll and reporting; liaise with client representatives; develop staffing plans, growth strategies, and ensure compliance with city/state regulations; manage security operations to meet client requirements, while maintaining professionalism and adherence to company values. Key duties include directing on-site security operations, ensuring rounds and reports are filed, training and mentoring staff, coordinating with operations management, maintaining licensing and certifications, and delivering high-quality customer service and security outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system.
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry.
