Job Summary
Security Director at Dartmouth Mall site responsible for managing a security contract, overseeing Supervisors and staff, controlling performance, service, and budget for assigned contracts, and ensuring a safe environment for employees and visitors. Leads development and implementation of security procedures, maintains post orders, conducts daily/weekly reporting, coordinates with client representatives and local authorities, and ensures compliance with safety regulations. Requires leadership to train and develop security staff, build customer-service oriented teams, manage staffing plans and supplier relationships, and drive security operations to meet client expectations. Heavy emphasis on life safety systems knowledge (CCTV, fire panels, access control), incident response, payroll/reporting oversight, and maintaining professional standards. The role also requires the ability to adapt to various sites, manage multiple tasks, and maintain organizational and interpersonal effectiveness in a dynamic facility setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
