Job Summary
Security Director overseeing a Dartmouth Mall security contract, responsible for overall performance, service and budget, leading Supervisors and staff, ensuring a safe environment for employees and visitors, establishing relationships with local police and fire departments, ensuring adherence to post orders, conducting training and coaching, developing security procedures, and communicating with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and service excellence is achieved. Requires leadership, compliance with safety standards, ability to manage staffing plans, knowledge of life safety/CCTV systems, and the ability to manage payroll and reporting, while maintaining professional conduct and a strong focus on customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
