Job Summary
Security Director responsible for managing a Dartmouth Mall security contract, overseeing Supervisors and staff, and ensuring the performance, service, and budget of assigned contracts. Establish relationships with local police and fire departments and facility stakeholders, maintain 100% compliance with staff training, and develop security procedures aligned with life safety and emergency policies. Lead post orders compliance, safety practices, report generation, and daily/weekly communications with client representatives. Provide lead direction at client sites, ensure adequate security coverage, coordinate staffing plans, training, and performance improvements, and balance customer service with operational security requirements. Strong leadership, budgeting, and relationship-building skills are essential to supervise security personnel, manage operations, and drive continuous improvement across security programs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent; Associates Degree; Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of management experience within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
