Security Director

Job Summary
Security Director responsible for managing a security contract, overseeing performance, service and budget for assigned accounts, and ensuring a safe environment for employees, vendors, and visitors. Builds relationships with local police/fire departments and facility stakeholders; establishes and enforces post orders, security procedures, and emergency protocols; leads supervision and staff training, recruitment, payroll reporting, and administrative duties. Develops staffing plans, maintains staffing levels, and ensures compliance with policies and regulations while delivering quality customer service and proactive security leadership across multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
