Job Summary
Security Director responsible for managing a security contract at Dartmouth Mall. Oversees Supervisors and staff, ensuring accountability, performance, service quality, and budget adherence. Establishes relationships with local police and fire departments, facility reports, and client stakeholders. Develops and enforces security procedures, post orders, emergency policies, and safety programs; conducts staff training and discipline as needed; prepares reports/logs; and coordinates security coverage with management. Requires strong leadership, incident reporting, and a focus on safety, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
