Security Director

Job Summary
Security Director responsible for managing a security contract, supervising supervisors and staff, ensuring budget and performance standards, and maintaining safety and compliance across client sites. Lead development and implementation of security procedures, post orders, and life-safety measures; coordinate with local police and fire departments; oversee training, payroll, and reporting; manage staffing plans, hiring, and performance; drive customer service excellence and ensuring site security across multiple accounts. Requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and ability to adapt to various sites; background check required; valid driver’s license; may require CPR/First Aid certification; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
