Job Summary
Security Director responsible for managing a security contract at Dartmouth Mall. Oversees accountability of Supervisors and staff, ensuring performance, service quality, and budget adherence for assigned contracts. Builds and maintains relationships with local police and fire departments and facility partners. Develops and implements security procedures, life-safety programs, and compliance with applicable laws; monitors post orders, conducts regular rounds, and ensures thorough reporting. Leads staff training and development, manages scheduling and personnel performance, and coordinates with client representatives to meet security requirements and deliver exceptional customer service. Maintains professional standards, safety practices, and operational effectiveness across all sites under management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- Prior CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
