Job Summary
Security Director for a contract at Patrick Henry Mall. Lead and manage security operations, supervise Supervisors and staff, and oversee performance, service, and budget for assigned accounts. Establish and maintain relationships with local police and fire departments, facility management, and clients. Develop and implement security procedures, ensure post orders are followed, conduct trainings, generate reports/logs, and ensure compliance with safety policies. Responsibilities include directing security staff, coordinating emergency responses, overseeing CCTV and life-safety systems, managing staffing plans and recruitment, ensuring regulatory licensing and background checks, and maintaining professional standards and customer service. Must demonstrate strong leadership, budgeting, and relationship-building skills to deliver high-quality security services and maintain a safe environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Associates Degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems and access computer system
- One year (1 yr.) of which must be in the capacity of a management position within the Security Industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Complete all licensing requirements as mandated by the State
- Background investigation required
