Job Summary
Obtain and maintain appropriate clearance with PSPC and ACSO roles where required. Represent EllisDon as the Security Coordinator on site, overseeing daily compliance with site security plans and executing necessary changes. Manage access control procedures for sensitive, protected, and classified assets, including receiving, logging, and tracking information. Provide continuous monitoring to mitigate risks of incidents or breaches, coordinate site escorts, and maintain security access lists. Deliver briefings and keep records adhering to client and ED standards. This role supports building a robust security culture across pre-construction, construction, and post-construction projects.
Required Qualifications
- business administration degree or diploma
- two years of security clearance administration
- Experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
- Must have Secret Level Clearance through CISD (PWSGC) or be eligible
- Must be able to Obtain/maintain appropriate clearance with PSPC
- Must be able to Obtain/maintain ACSO role with PSPC where required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working as a Security Officer, registered with PSPC is considered an asset
