Job Summary
Monitor and dispatch alarms from integrated security technology including access control, CCTV, and fire alarms within security operations centers. Coordinate emergency incident responses using two-way radios, manage telephonic and electronic communications, process ID cards, and document activities. Serve as a first responder to urgent situations, conducting safety audits and providing security services to employees and visitors while maintaining confidentiality. Use critical thinking to identify potential risks and ensure a secure campus experience. Work weekends and holidays as part of the schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- A minimum of two years of experience in a corporate or professional environment that includes performance under demanding conditions
- Excellent customer service in a professional environment
- Experience using video management and access control systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Able to work weekends and some holidays as part of the work schedule

Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or 60 credits of post-secondary education from an accredited institution
- Current certification in First Aid/CPR/AED and bloodborne pathogen training
