Security Control Assessor (SCA), Level I

Conduct comprehensive assessments of management, operational, and technical security controls to determine their effectiveness and identify weaknesses within Information Systems. Evaluate Authorization packages, threats, and vulnerabilities to recommend corrective actions and safeguards, ensuring compliance with the Risk Management Framework and Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide. Prepare Security Assessment Reports, initiate Plans of Action and Milestones, and advise Information System Owners and Government officials on authorization issues. Represent the customer on inspection teams, assist with security incidents, and review sanitization procedures in accordance with government guidance.
