Job Summary
Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarms while inspecting doors, gates, and locks to ensure physical security infrastructure integrity. Respond in real time to security breaches, alarms, and emergency situations, documenting findings and escalating incidents as needed. Maintain and troubleshoot security equipment to ensure optimal uptime, collaborate with venue operations and external vendors on safety protocols, and support credentialing for events and deliveries. Maintain accurate records of security activities, incident reports, and maintenance logs while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations. Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays for 24-hour security operations, standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in physical security, facilities protection, or a related role
- Familiarity with security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify vulnerabilities in physical infrastructure
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively under pressure
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Lift at least 30 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required for events and 24-hour security operations
