Security & Compliance Engineer

Security & Compliance Engineer to maintain and improve operational security across hybrid AWS and on-prem environments. Focus on vulnerability management, security log management, control monitoring, remediation tracking, audit support, and cross-team coordination. 3+ years of experience in security engineering or related fields. Hands-on Linux-based production environments and security in AWS with IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, Inspector, and KMS. Strong scripting for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Experience with GovRAMP/FedRAMP, PCI DSS, and other regulatory examinations. Ability to translate security and compliance requirements into practical, durable operational outcomes and to collaborate with infrastructure, platform, and engineering teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-team remediation and audit readiness. Proactively maintain documentation and procedures aligned with current controls and environment. 2-3 weeks of on-site travel per year.
