Job Summary
Security Commercial Offerings Systems Technician performs installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting of intrusion alarm, access control, CCTV, intercom, network infrastructure, PA systems, and fire alarm systems; reads blueprints, diagrams, and specifications, completes as-built drawings, submits reports and conducts system acceptance tests with AHJs; participates in on-call rotation and consults with clients to assess security requirements. The role requires proficiency with PC-based systems, knowledge of local/national codes, ability to program basic micro-processor based systems, and strong customer-service skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Electronic Technician program or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license; must pass driving background check
- Current State of Iowa Alarm Technician License or ability to achieve
