Job Summary
Security Clearance Administrator responsible for processing and managing security clearances for BGIS team members and contractors, ensuring accurate submission of screening documentation, maintaining compliance with Infrastructure Ontario requirements, and providing ongoing notifications for expiry/renewals. The role includes collaboration with Security Specialists, maintaining audit-ready records, providing change-of-circumstance reports, terminating unnecessary clearances, safeguarding personnel screening files, and performing general administrative duties in a contract, full-time capacity in Markham, Ontario. Must be able to obtain and maintain Infrastructure Ontario OPS/OPP clearances and hold or obtain related security clearances.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of administrative experience
- Excellent computer skills, proficient with MS Office
- Highly organized and able to multi-task
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Dependable, responsive, customer-focused with diplomacy, tact, judgment, discretion and initiative
- Ability to obtain and maintain BGIS criminal background clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain Infrastructure Ontario OPS and OPP clearance
- Knowledge of corporate and Government of Ontario security policies and directives an asset
