Security Automation Engineer

Job Summary
Design and implement security automation frameworks using Terraform and scripting languages like Python and Bash to improve operations and consistency across Managed Services platforms. Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and automate the deployment of tools including HashiCorp Vault and cloud-native services. Develop automated remediation workflows for security incidents and compliance findings while collaborating with engineering teams to embed security into platform architectures. Drive standardization of automation patterns and support vulnerability management initiatives across public, private, and datacenter environments.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, or automation roles
- Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management tools
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps pipelines
- Familiarity with security tooling and integrations
- Strong problem-solving and automation mindset
