Job Summary
Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff while executing security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations requiring an armed presence. Conduct regular patrols throughout transit locations, public access areas, platforms, facilities, and perimeter zones to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to supervisors, law enforcement, or first responders. Document incidents and complete required reports. Work fixed-anchor shifts with a six-month commitment in Queens, NY, earning $34.70–$35.70/hour, with options to claim additional shifts via the Smart Tools platform. A law enforcement officer license is required; a high school diploma and valid driver's license are also required.
