Job Summary
Monitor and report security activities in hospital facilities using patrol techniques, responding to incidents as required. Greet visitors, valet park, transport patients, and perform other duties as assigned. Maintain insurable driver's license and complete the Huntsville Hospital P.R.I.D.E. Academy, including IAHSS Basic Officer certification. Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while enforcing policies assertively yet courteously. Requires high school diploma, customer service experience, and basic computer skills. Full-time position with competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K match.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must possess a driver's license
- Must be insurable by HH standards
- Must successfully complete the Huntsville Hospital P.R.I.D.E. Academy includes multiple certifications to include IAHSS Basic Officer certification
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to enforce policies in an assertive, yet courteous manner
- Must possess some computer skills with the ability to use word processing and spreadsheet applications
