Job Summary
Conduct patrols in hospital facilities, monitoring activities and reporting incidents using standard patrol techniques. Respond to security events as needed while greeting visitors, valet parking, transporting patients, or operating as a cashier in the garage booth. Maintain a driver's license and pass the Huntsville Hospital P.R.I.D.E. Academy training. Work in a fast-paced environment requiring quick prioritization, assertive yet courteous policy enforcement, and basic computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must successfully complete the Huntsville Hospital P.R.I.D.E. Academy
- Must possess a driver's license
- Must be insurable by HH standards
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must possess the ability to prioritize and change tasks frequently and quickly
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Must possess the ability to enforce policies in an assertive, yet courteous manner
- Must possess some computer skills
- Must possess the ability to use word processing applications
- Must possess the ability to use spreadsheet applications
