Security Analyst

Job Summary
Security Analyst responsible for protecting StarTech.com's systems, networks, infrastructure, and data by identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks; conducts vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security monitoring, and incident response; supports compliance programs (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST) and security architecture alignment; collaborates with IT and business teams to establish security baselines, drive remediation, and promote a security-conscious culture; requires hands-on experience with vulnerability management, SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel), cloud security across Azure/AWS/GCP, IAM/MFA, secure coding awareness, and strong problem-solving and communication skills; travel to distribution centers in Canada, the U.S., or the U.K. may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in an information security, cybersecurity, or related IT role
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP or CISM
- Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CMMC Cybersecurity Framework
