Job Summary
Evaluate, respond, and mitigate alerts originating from the SIEM and security product suite including NGFWs, IDS/IPS, EDR, and web application firewalls. Demonstrate expertise in tuning SIEM events to reduce false positives and extract indicators of compromise for sandboxing and behavioral analysis. Scope events to ensure proper remediation while performing operational support, conducting security assessments, and investigating data loss prevention and manipulation risks. Advise on complex security procedures and share knowledge with staff to improve the organization's overall security posture. Work Tuesday through Friday from 10pm to 8am EST in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Denver, or Birmingham.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- university / college degree
- comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) in lieu of a degree
