Job Summary
Security Analyst within PNC's Technology organization analyzes and mitigates alerts from SIEM/EDR and related security products; tunes SIEM to reduce false positives; extracts IOCs and behavioral characteristics of malicious samples for proper remediation (sandboxing); demonstrates subject matter expertise in SOC functions; provides operational security support and coordinates actions to address risks and vulnerabilities; shift is Sunday–Thursday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm EST; roles based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; or Birmingham, AL; visa sponsorship not provided; Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience preferred; various security competencies and certifications are valued as part of a mature security program.
