Security Analyst

Job Summary
Monitor SIEM dashboards, logs, and alerts to detect suspicious activity and analyze network traffic from SASE and Zero Trust tools. Coordinate incident response by escalating and resolving security events with client SOCs, while identifying and documenting threats, indicators of compromise, and vulnerabilities. Perform regular vulnerability scans, assist with remediation, and support compliance efforts for GLBA and PCI-DSS standards. Gather security evidence for internal and external audits and deliver security awareness training to clients. Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal ISOs to address security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including threat detection, incident response, and risk management
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs)
- Basic experience with or exposure to security tools, log analysis, or alert triage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to document findings clearly and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks or priorities
- A collaborative mindset and a customer-focused approach to security
- Prior experience supporting credit unions or financial institutions

- Experience with: Email Security: Microsoft Defender, Mimecast, Zix, Proofpoint
- Experience with: Email Authentication: DMARC, SPF, DKIM
- Industry certifications such as: CompTIA Security+
- Industry certifications such as: ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC)
- Industry certifications such as: ISC² SSCP
