Job Summary
Seeking a Security Analyst with 2-3 years of experience in Java or .NET web applications and SQL databases. Candidates must have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in software vulnerability assessments and must have implemented secure software development techniques. Familiarity with the OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities is essential. Strong communication skills and experience leading vulnerability report debrief sessions are required. Candidates should be knowledgeable in security technologies, and have practical experience with Eclipse or .NET IDE.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience in direct development of Java or .NET web applications with a SQL database
- 1-2 years hands-on experience performing real-world software vulnerability assessments using blackbox and whitebox tools
- Implemented secure software development techniques
- Completed software vulnerability training with blackbox/whitebox tool exposure
- Strong understanding of OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with and provide guidance to software development teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience conducting vulnerability report debrief sessions with software development teams
- Broad understanding of IT systems, technologies, and solutions
- Expertise with security technologies such as penetration testing frameworks, vulnerability scanners, and source code scanners
- Experience working with Eclipse IDE and/or .NET IDE
- Experience working with Source Management systems
