Security Analyst (CIP Compliance)

Job Summary
Compile, prepare, and analyze evidence in relation to Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards while defining problems, collecting data, and establishing facts to assist in the CIP investigation process. Conduct reviews of new or revised standards, procedures, or policies to identify changes needed for continued compliance, and prepare the company for NERC and Regional compliance audits, spot checks, and self-certifications. Update compliance tools, track audit progress, and manage the library of compliance documentation while strengthening controls where non-compliance could cause significant reliability, financial, or reputational impact.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with and working knowledge of CIP standards
- 5+ years of experience developing or managing implementation of work level instructions
- demonstrated abilities of effective analytical and reasoning capabilities

- presentation skills
- ability to effectively present information to peers and company leadership
- ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, determine possible solutions and draw valid conclusions to assist in the CIP investigation process
- Prior experience conducting analysis and supporting compliance in a regulatory environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Energy industry experience preferred
