Job Summary
Ensure safety of customers, employees, and patrons while patrolling casino premises, barn areas, and event showrooms. Greets guests, visually inspects bags and persons for unauthorized items, and advises violators of rule infractions. Continually observes gaming tables, corridors, and parking facilities to detect irregularities, tampering, or fire hazards. Transports chips, performs drop duties for table games, and regulates vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Reports critical situations, medical emergencies, or security breaches to supervisors and maintains complete confidentiality of internal functions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, employees and others
- Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Must obtain licensing with the West Virginia Lottery and Racing Commissions every year of employment
- CPR certification
- Valid driver's license for the state in which you reside
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Good observation skills
- Must be diplomatic and tactful
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees
- Must be flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekend hours and overtime as business needs dictate
Desired Qualifications
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- Previous customer service experience
- Champion of Red Carpet Customer Service and building positive team spirit
