Job Summary
Security Agent at West Edmonton Mall focused on patrolling premises to deter hazards and prevent crime, respond to alarms and incidents, liaise with police and other emergency services, enforce security policies, and engage guests and tenants with appropriate service. Must hold valid Class 5 license and, where applicable, SSIA/ProServe/ProTect licenses; part-time hours with flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and night shifts; location in Edmonton, AB, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Provide a 3-year driver's abstract
- Current Security Services and Investigation Act (SSIA) License is an asset
- Certification in first aid and CPR or be willing to obtain required certification
- Possess a current ProServe and ProTect license or willing to take the required training
- Previous experience in security, military, or protection-based positions encouraged
- Fitness test required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to complete position-related written exam
- Post-secondary education in Police and Investigation Studies is recommended
- Must be over 18 and able to pass a basic security clearance
