Job Summary
Inspect airline equipment for unauthorized items, screen cargo per customer specifications, and perform aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding, and gate guarding. Observe unit activity and facility surroundings when not conducting inspections, while adhering to all customer specifications. Report to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and follow oversight from Leads or Senior Leads. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. Requires a valid U.S. driver's license, citizenship, and ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Works non-standard hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in cold temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Wage Rate: $20.00
- 1 Year of Service: $20.20
- 2nd Year of Service: $20.40
- 3rd Year of Service: $21.22
- 4th Year of Service: $21.64
- New employees required to complete an FBI fingerprint check (SIDA Badge) and a confirmed 10-year background check (10 year listed; 5 year verified)
- Not have been convicted of any of the listed FAA Disqualifying Crimes
- Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis in order to perform the essential functions of the job
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Hold a valid U.S. driver's license
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be willing to work in cold temperatures, as it is a requirement for this role
- Possess written and oral communication skills in English
- Works non standard work hours, evenings, weekends, holidays
- Candidates will be required to go through pre-employment drug screen, criminal check and/or airport fingerprinting
