Job Summary
Inspect airline equipment for unauthorized items and screen cargo per customer specifications. Perform aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding, and gate guarding as directed. Observe unit activity and facility surroundings when not conducting inspections. Report to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and follow instructions from Leads or Senior Leads. Maintain a security mindset, trust, and customer-focused approach while working non-standard hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- New employees required to complete an FBI fingerprint check (SIDA Badge) and a confirmed 10-year background check (10 year listed; 5 year verified)
- Not have been convicted of any of the listed FAA Disqualifying Crimes
- Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Hold a valid U.S. driver's license
- US Citizen
- Must be willing to work in cold temperatures
- Works non standard work hours, evenings, weekends, holidays
- Possess written and oral communication skills in English
