Job Summary
Security Account Manager responsible for supervising day-to-day security operations at client sites in Cleveland, OH. Manage a team of Security Officers, Site and Shift Supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support. Ensure high-quality security services, maintain client and employee relationships, coordinate support services to meet financial and operational goals, and handle escalated security issues or emergencies. Conduct annual staff reviews; monitor performance and maintain personnel files; assist with terminations and unemployment claims; support HR in hiring and on-boarding; compile reports on personnel activities and account trends; track company equipment and stay current on relevant CBAs and regulations. Requires degree in Criminal Justice or related field (or equivalent), and extensive managerial experience in security, with ability to obtain Ohio security license. Base salary $47K plus benefits; strong focus on leadership, policy implementation, customer service, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Management or related field and/or equivalent experience/education preferred
- Minimum of seven years of managerial and policy making experience in the law enforcement or contract security field
- Ability to obtain a valid security license in Ohio
- Strong communication, organizational, financial and time management skills
- Bilingual considered a plus
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Proven leadership and team-management capabilities
- Experience with workforce management systems and scheduling systems
- Experience with Excel and reporting
