Security Account Manager

Job Summary
Sell integrated physical security systems and services, including design, installation, and maintenance agreements. Develop new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals, while expanding services with existing customers. Conduct site visits and needs assessments to develop customized proposals and system designs, and deliver compelling sales presentations using approved marketing materials to communicate Sciens’ value proposition. Build long-term relationships through consultative selling and by positioning Sciens as a trusted advisor. Provide accurate forecasts of sales activity and maintain up-to-date CRM records. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to ensure successful project execution, and represent Sciens at industry events and customer meetings.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in physical security system sales
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integrated security platforms
- Experience selling technical solutions through the contracting tier and to end users
- Technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Effective communication and presentation skills with a consultative sales approach
- Ability to travel by air and/or ground overnight, as necessary
