Job Summary
Conduct safety and security duties under the supervision of the Director of Safety and Security, including monitoring closed-circuit television, responding to emergencies, and performing package checks on all employees. Manage access control using the wander guard system and recognize unsafe conditions to report hazards or notify departments. Maintain logs and reports while assisting in the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement process. Work in proper uniform with sensitivity to the age of the population served. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and CPR certification; military or law enforcement experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current valid Driver's License
- Good interpersonal/communication skills
- Ability to read instructions and apply those instructions to the tasks to be performed
- Ability to hear alarms, patient calls, and instructions from supervisors and staff
- Achieve and maintain certification in CPR procedures

- Military, criminal justice or law enforcement experience
