Job Summary
RMBS Transaction Manager in the Securitized Products Group oversees the end-to-end process of buying and selling residential mortgage loans, manages the full loan lifecycle from purchase to post-settlement, participates in trade negotiations and advises on trade terms, prepares, reviews, and approves trade confirmations and related documentation, ensures collateral requirements are met prior to settlement, maintains records for regulatory compliance letters, and coordinates workflow with third-party vendors while interacting daily with traders, clients, sales, due diligence, attorneys, custodians, and servicers. Focused on identifying and implementing process improvements and delivering reliable execution within a team-driven, capital-markets environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least two years of relevant professional experience in residential loan trading or secondary mortgage market
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage deliverables within tight timeframes
- Strong verbal and written communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Professional approach and ability to work as part of a team
