Job Summary
Analyst in Real Estate Finance within the Securitised Products Group who screens and researches real estate loan opportunities across Europe, Middle East and Africa; supports structuring and execution of loan proposals; conducts market research to inform recommendations; performs financial modelling and real estate underwriting; prepares deal proposals for internal committees; coordinates with credit, valuation, and middle office; ensures accurate data handling and communicates findings with concise reports.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with a variety of property classes (office, retail, logistics, multi-family residential)
- Familiarity with lending against operating businesses where real estate is a key factor
- Excellent data handling skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Advanced modelling skills
- Strong report writing capabilities
- Sound judgement and risk analysis
- Robust questioning and negotiating skills
- Interest in real estate
- Experience in structured finance
- UK regulated activity understanding and alignment with FCA/PRA fitness and propriety requirements
