Job Summary
Securitized Products Group - ABS Principal Finance – Vice President role focused on origination, structuring, and execution of asset-backed securities transactions across multiple asset classes and geographies, with emphasis on Latin America. Responsibilities include leading end-to-end transaction processes (pitch development, due diligence, structuring, documentation, execution, post-close portfolio management), client interaction, and negotiation of transaction documentation. The role requires coordinating with internal teams and external partners, applying rating agency methodologies, and leveraging quantitative analysis to assess risk and valuation. The candidate should have substantial securitization/structured finance experience, demonstrated leadership in transactions, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of securitization or structured finance experience with demonstrated ability to lead transactions
- Proven ability to model, price, and structure ABS transactions independently
- Deep familiarity with rating agency methodologies for structured finance
- Strong quantitative skills to analyze performance data and translate findings into risk and valuation assessments
- Ability to navigate cross-disciplinary deal considerations including accounting, corporate finance, bank capital, tax, and legal frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Professional fluency in Spanish is preferred
- Python or similar programming skills for data analysis and workflow automation
- Strong sense of urgency with attention to detail and quality
- Strong teamwork and ability to work with a diverse set of clients and stakeholders
