Job Summary
The VP role leads Crisis Management/Business Resiliency for Asia Pacific Securities Services Operations, coordinating incident responses across Operations, Client Service and Product; overseeing after-action reviews, remediation tracking, and monthly MIS reporting on disruptions to technology, vendors, sub-custodians, and FMIs; develops and documents playbooks, coordinates simulation testing, and supports a regional governance framework with cross-functional partners and regulators. Requires 8+ years in financial services, strong incident-management experience, excellent communication to senior stakeholders, and robust cross-organizational stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- At least 8 years of work experience in financial services industry with strong knowledge on the regulatory environment
- Sound understanding of the Securities Services business
- Experience of working within an incident management framework, with proven expertise of managing multiple stakeholder groups to resolve significant issues.
- Analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills based upon fact and business/industry knowledge
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver succinct and accurate messaging to senior stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proven stakeholder management skills required to work cross-organizationally to influence others, drive results and implement change
