Job Summary
Senior Associate, Internal Workstations Product Development in Securities Services (London): Lead the strategy, standards, and roadmap for internal workstation applications across Custody, Fund Services, Middle Office, and Agent Lending. Drive simplification and standardisation of tools, collaborate with Product, Operations, and Technology to align on requirements and future-state solutions, monitor market trends, provide status updates to senior management, manage risk and governance, and champion data adoption and user engagement to deliver high-quality workstation capabilities leveraging data platforms and AI.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Banking and Financial Services programme, Product Development, or equivalent
- Extensive experience in internal workstations and workstation tool suites, with strong understanding of data management and distribution
- Knowledge of industry-wide standards and operational processes
- Subject matter expertise in solutions for financial institutions, with experience in Custody, Fund Accounting, Middle Office Services, or Agency Lending
- Stakeholder management experience, leveraging user experience strategy to define minimum viable product and migration strategy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with clarity of thought and ability to express ideas clearly
- Experience with system and process design, Target Operating Models, and business requirements documentation (including use of Visio and JIRA)
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, using programmes such as Tableau, Alteryx, and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Understanding of Securities Services client segments, including Asset Managers, Asset Owners, and Sovereign investment funds
- Experience delivering change in complex operational environments, ideally within Securities Services or a related field
