Job Summary
Fund Accounting Product Manager responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Fund Accounting product offering, partnering with Operations, Product Development, Client Service and Sales to deliver a best-in-class client experience, develop new business opportunities, and support pricing, cost modeling, billing governance, and profitability analysis; collaborate across Operations, Technology, Sales and Service to drive efficiency, standardization, and cross-functional initiatives, while staying current on regulatory changes and market activity.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience supporting Fund Accounting product offering
- In-depth practical understanding of Fund Accounting core processes / concepts covering asset classes, trade lifecycle, fund expenses, P&L computations, balance sheet and basic financial reporting standards
- Ability to create initial pricing proposals for new deals and reprices; develop standard templates for commercial pricing proposals
- Support cost to serve process; create initial cost model and review actual costs post-implementation
- Respond to questions in prospect RFPs; support FA and Fund Admin products
- Work across Operations, Technology, Sales, and Service stakeholders
- Support billing oversight and governance; respond to billing inquiries
- Develop reporting to assess profitability of Fund Services; oversee operational expenses
- Maintain oversight of key vendor relationships
- Serve as escalation point for issues and conduit for product-related requests
- Ensure activities are reflected in risk and controls self-assessment and business control forums
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and potential business impact
- Participate in industry events to stay informed of market, client and competitor activity
