Job Summary
Senior Associate in JP Morgan's CIB Event Marketing team in Singapore. Support Securities Services and Prime Financial Services Event Marketing, partnering with lines of business, marketing, and functions to develop and execute end-to-end client events. Lead client initiatives, manage budgets and external vendors/venues, coordinate event briefs, invitations, speaker management, venue setup, event design, onsite support, production, invoicing, and post-event analysis. Ensure regulatory compliance and documentation, maintain event metrics and premiums tracker, and provide cross-LOB event support. Strong stakeholder management, budget oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with excellent MS Office skills and Mandarin proficiency preferred. Travel and occasional after-hours work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Events, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Hotel Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management/execution in the financial services industry
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to confidently lead and manage events on an end-to-end basis
- Client-focused, highly organized, and process-oriented with the ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines
- Being a confident ambassador to internal management with the ability to forge strong relationships, interact, influence, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and across lines of business
- Ability to work both autonomously and as a team player, actively fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication within the team, with proven ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and accurate manner
- Effectively collaborate with team members, vendors, and internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and must be savvy with technology
- Periodic after-hours work will be required
- Periodic travel within the region may be required
- Mandarin proficiency would be an advantage to support the China business and there will be interactions with stakeholders, vendors and local colleagues in Mandarin.
