Job Summary
VP-level securities services trading role focused on Agency Securities Finance. Manage risk and profitability of a designated trading book, maximise risk-adjusted revenues for beneficial owners, deploy liquidity for optimal collateral, and analyze client portfolios. Collaborate with Quantitative Research to develop multi-asset trading capabilities, identify cross-market opportunities, structure and execute discretionary and client-directed trades (over overnight, term, and exclusive portfolios), and oversee daily P&L reconciliation and book controls. Maintain focus on liquidity metrics, credit exposure, and collateral risk, deploy capital to optimise RWA and stress capital consumption, stay abreast of regulatory developments, and coach/develop the team. Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills; ability to leverage AI-powered analytics and pricing tools; proven ability to build and monetise counterparty relationships; capable of functioning in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in a market-facing role
- Familiarity with regulatory developments impacting securities finance

- This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
