Job Summary
Owned by HUB International’s Account Management & Service team, the Securities Operations Manager oversees operational support for 401(k) and wealth management clients. Responsibilities include scheduling client meetings, executing wealth management trades and check requests, coordinating new account and fund-change paperwork, interfacing with recordkeepers and vendors, producing account reviews and reports, assisting with participant education sessions, maintaining client communications and data, and supporting transitions to new recordkeepers. The role requires a solid understanding of the securities industry, regulatory guidelines, meticulous attention to detail, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills to identify opportunities for service improvements and account retention. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field is required; 3+ years of relevant experience in financial services is expected; FINRA licenses are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of financial services industry and diverse investment products
- Previous experience in the independent financial services culture preferred
- Applicable FINRA licenses preferred (Series 7, 6, 65, 66 or 63)
