Job Summary
Securities Finance Trader to develop and maintain borrower relationships, optimize client portfolios, assess voluntary corporate actions (Rights, Tenders, Buybacks, Scrip/DRP options), and collaborate with global sales, client executives, and product teams to build portfolio models and market commentary. Responsibilities include supporting daily trading activity to maintain top rankings, exceeding revenue/ROIC targets through optimal execution and client expansion, partnering with global teams to enhance trading analytics and the portfolio attribution engine, and coordinating with operations, technology, and account management to ensure controls and client reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of Securities Lending, Prime Finance, or Delta One trading experience across either equity or fixed income products
- Bachelor’s / University Degree required
- Master’s Degree in Business or Finance, or CFA preferred
- Proficiency with Bloomberg, MS Excel modelling & macro development
- Experience with basic programming across large data sets using SQL, QlikView, and Python
- Ability to multitask and work under time pressure
- Self-motivator with entrepreneurial disposition
- Ability to translate and articulate securities finance market thoughts to colleagues, senior management, and clients
