Job Summary
Identify and execute Securities Finance trading opportunities across EMEA equities and fixed income, directly driving revenue and managing active performance. Provide pricing on Stock Borrowing, Lending, and Financing markets to external counterparties and internal businesses while collaborating with central operations functions. Assist management with risk management, ensuring compliance with FCA regulatory requirements and adhering to operational risk frameworks. Correspond with clients including banks, hedge funds, and market makers to onboard new relationships and maintain existing ones. Strategize to increase P&L through market and product analysis, escalating risk events immediately and providing input to risk management processes.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in Securities Borrowing and Lending / Secured Financing / Delta One Strategies
- Comprehensive knowledge of the financial service markets and relevant regulatory requirements
- Experience of the infrastructural support required to efficiently support Securities Finance
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this
