Job Summary
Secure Web Gateway & Email Security SME focused on Forcepoint Web Security (primary) and Proofpoint Email Security (secondary); responsibilities include leading deployment, configuration, and continual enhancement of SWG policies (URL filtering, SSL inspection, malware scanning, DLP), troubleshooting proxy issues, improving end-to-end visibility of web traffic, optimizing email threat protection and encryption workflows, and collaborating with SOC, network, and security engineering teams; familiarity with Qualys, Microsoft Defender, CyberArk, and other SWG/SASE platforms, plus ability to generate monthly operational reports and provide insights during reviews.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years hands-on experience in Secure Web Gateway (SWG), proxy security, email security operations, or broader cybersecurity technologies
- Hands-on experience with Forcepoint Web Security
- Hands-on experience with Proofpoint Email Security
- Strong understanding of web security architecture, proxy logic, SSL/TLS inspection, identity-based authentication, and email threat protection fundamentals
